Q: WHAT IS A BUSINESS FACILITATOR?

A: To facilitate means to make happen. When entering into a new business environment there are a multitude of factors to consider. A primary task is to rapidly become acquainted with local government officials and industry leaders. A skilled facilitator can make this happen in a very short time. PEGGY LUNDY is an experienced facilitator. 

Q: WHERE DO I FIND A FACILITATOR WHO CAN GAIN THE NECESSARY  INTRODUCTIONS TO HELP MY BUSINESS?

A: You must find someone who has the proper connections and access which can be gained only by years of experience, involvement and dedication.  PEGGY LUNDY is connected.

Q: HOW DO I KNOW WHOM TO MEET?

A:  This varies with the particular needs and objectives of the individual client.  The best way is to find a respected qualified facilitator and obtain guidance and recommendations.  Examples would be members of legislative and governing bodies, members of state and local boards and commissions, public officials, both elected and appointed, and others with positions of and with influence that would promote the client’s best interests.  PEGGY LUNDY answers these questions for her clients.

Q:  WOULD SUCH A FACILITATOR BE AVAILABLE IN AN ONGOING EFFORT?

A:  Yes.  A facilitator working on an ongoing basis is known as a business liaison.  In that capacity the facilitator serves as the client’s personal advisor to all local political, governmental and legislative activities in any areas that may directly or indirectly affect the client’s business.  Peggy is also experienced in and available for company spokesman services.  Q:  WHAT IS THE PORT OF DALLAS AND THE RIVER OF TRADE CORRIDOR COALITION?

 A:  The Port of Dallas is an inland port located primarily in the southern sector of Dallas County, Texas.  It includes one or more free trade zones resulting from the 1992 NAFTA agreement.  The River of Trade Corridor Coalition (ROTCC) is a coalition of cities, counties, corporations, businesses, industries and individuals interested in promoting free trade and transportation of goods along a corridor of highways and railroad lines that begin at the Port of Dallas and from there continue north and branch out to locations in the eastern U.S. and Canada.  PEGGY LUNDY has been on the ground floor of the ROTCC endeavor in Dallas.

 Q:  WHAT ARE THE LOCAL HOPES FOR THE PORT OF DALLAS?

 A:  Our local hopes are not only to fulfill the NAFTA agreements and  promote free trade for the benefit of the U.S. and its trading partners, but to bring jobs, growth and economic prosperity to the transportation corridor and to a sector of Dallas County long disdained and neglected.  Dallas is ideally suited and strategically located to serve as a first class inland or “agile” port facility for this purpose.  By some estimates, the Port of Dallas is destined to become the largest inland port in the world in the next few years.
